This Winters Shifter is for a TH350 transmission and has a Standard. When I manually shifted it from 3rd gear into 2nd gear it went right into 2nd gear. The Winters Shifter is the number one choice of a shifter when it comes to Off Roading. What happened made me think that there seems to be half gears in the detent/down shift system? Is that correct? It seemed when I stood on the accelerator it down shifted into a gear between 2nd and 3rd gear. My Speedo gears in my transmission are right on for 3.42 gears with 27" tale tire. And I'm here to tell you that car down shifted what appeared to be another gear, took off like a bat out of he!! and laid a set of stripes about 20 or 30 feet long (thanks to my Duragrip!) and the car was GONE, ! After a few seconds my shift light came on for my 2nd to 3rd gear shift so I up shifted it back into 3rd gear (drive), it barked the tires hard as he!! We wet from 45 MPH to about 80 MPH or so in seconds. So I manually pulled the shifting lever down into 2nd gear. Yesterday I was driving around 45 MPH and stood on the accelerator, it down shifted but didn't pull the way I think it should. Not like when I take off from a standing start. For GM TH350 transmission application Operates with solid adjustable linkage Neutral Safety Switch Positive Safety-Lock. It can be mounted to either the top or bottom of the floor and includes different offset arms for most applications. My main question is, how does the detent/down shift system work in the TH350? Does it down shift into a gear in between 2nd and 3rd gear? When I'm driving 40 to 45 MPH in 3rd gear and push the accelerator all the way to the floor it down shifts but doesn't seem to pull very hard, at least not ass hard as I think it should. Lokar's floor mount Turbo 350 transmission shifter allows you to mount it to the transmission tunnel rather than the transmission itself. My motor make really good low end and mid range torque. I hate to come off as a lazy bastard, but, well if the shoe fits. I have a stock TH350 in my car with a B&M shift kit. However, that where transmission knowledge stops. I know how to install then and have put a few shift kits in TH350's. Please excuse my ignorance on transmissions.

First launched in 1981, it is currently in its 5 th generation and has won multiple awards over the years due to its performance and utility. The Dodge Ram is one of the most popular truck series in the world. If you are a Dodge Ram 1500 looking to make sure that your truck’s engine keeps it cool, you have come to the right place. If you don’t do that, your engine’s performance and lifeline will can be seriously compromised. Considering how much power your truck’s engine can generate, it is very important to make sure that it always has a healthy supply of coolant to keep it in proper shape. This fluid ensures that heat is being properly dissipated from your engine and prevents it from overheating. It won’t tell you if the coolant is still protective against corrosion though. An antifreeze or coolant is crucial for the proper functioning of your engine. A tool called a ‘coolant hydrometer’ can be used to check the specific gravity of the coolant. It’s worth noting though, that even though the liquid may still show as ‘full’ in your tank, the active properties of the chemical composition may not be working anymore (ie. Some vehicles require it every 2 years whilst others can come with a ‘lifetime’ blend of coolant. Check the owners manual for your vehicle of with your service dept. This again depends on your specific vehicle’s manufacturer recommendation. Tap water or well water is not recommended due to the minerals in the water. For temperatures below that, up to 70% coolant concentrate can be used. From concentrate, most of the time a 50 percent coolant and 50 percent distilled or de-ionized water dilution is recommended. This will protect the system from freezing to about -34 F. Which could then lead to an expensive doctors bill. Check the owners manual.įirst, check to make sure the solution of coolant/antifreeze you buy is not already pre-diluted. Mixing the wrong types could cause radiator and cooling system damage (which could lead to engine/waterpump damage) and a repair bill that’ll make you pass out on the floor. Unless you’re an expert on the exact chemical composition and reactions of the various types, keep it simple and stick with what the manufacturer recommends. For example, Toyota has green and red, but it depends on the year and model of the vehicle as to which kind is needed. Various aftermarket companies and vehicle manufacturers use different colors. You can also check with your (manufacturer) dealership parts department. Check in your owners manual to see exactly which type of coolant to add to your vehicle. However just because it’s the same color doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the same type. Typically orange or yellow.Īs a quick guide, if your topping up the coolant levels, use the same color as is in the vehicle already. This has silicates and has an extended life lasting up to 5 years. Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT)- A mix of the above two types of coolant.Provides high-temperature protection for aluminum. Afib has less organized activity in the atria and thus provides less uniform “f” waves.Atypical Aflutter may have varying AV conduction, which can cause an irregular heart rhythm. ‘Coarse Afib’ has an “f” wave amplitude> 0.5 mm, which can mimic Aflutter “f” waves morphology. The main difference between atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter is that most cases of atrial flutter can be cured with radiofrequency ablation (RFA). It may be difficult to distinguish atypical Aflutter from coarse Afib. In contrast to atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation is a more chaotic rhythm that does not follow one set loop. In atrial flutter, the hearts rhythm is rapid but regular. So if you don't get a same-day response, there's a good chance you'll never get one.īut you still want to give your recipient a courtesy cushion. It's worth noting that about 90% of people both open and reply to an email the day they get it. But if you wait more than a couple weeks, you run the risk of being totally forgotten. Otherwise, unless it's urgent, following up in less than a couple days is overkill. How long should you wait to follow up?Īs a general rule of thumb, it's never too early to email a "thank you" follow-up message after a meeting or casual conversation. But it's worth waiting a moment to see if your contact gets back to you, then dropping another line to see if they're interested. There's a chance they'd love your idea if it didn't get lost in the shuffle. But your recipient is likely fielding countless other pitches (amid countless other never-ending responsibilities). If you're a freelancer pitching a project, it's easy to feel disillusioned after not hearing back from a contact. While you want to keep things brief, it's always worth referencing one or two specific things you discussed in the interview while reiterating your interest in the position.įollowing up is also worthwhile after an informal networking chat. If you've interviewed for a job, a gracious follow-up email generates goodwill and makes employers more likely to remember you. Fastest email for teams After a job interview or networking eventĮveryone appreciates a thank you note. By periodically reminding leads of your business, you can close sales later on. According to some data, 60% of customers say no four times before saying yes - even though half of sales reps never bother following up. Think of it from the potential client's perspective: they aren't always looking to buy from you immediately. If you don't follow up with sales leads, you're (quite literally!) leaving money on the table. Think about all those missed opportunities. While the sales data above shows that follow ups get replies, it also found that 70% of unanswered email threads stopped after the first message. Here are some examples of when to send that extra email. When should you send a follow-up email?Īs shown, following up is well worth it under the right circumstances. According to data from 500,000 sales emails, you have a 21% chance of getting a reply from your first follow-up email, and a 25% chance of getting one after subsequent follow ups. They could just use a gentle nudge.īecause the more you follow up, the likelier you are to get a response. But they may not have opened it, and their lack of a reply doesn't always mean a lack of interest. According to research, this often means deferring messages - which 16% of us do once a day - that warrant careful replies and thoughtful reading. Not necessarily! Since we all get so many emails, we need ways to process our inboxes quickly. If they want to respond, won't they get around to it the first time? You may be wary of re-emailing a contact if they ignore you. Read along for tips, tricks, and best practices to get more out of each subsequent reminder message - so that all your persistence pays off without ever getting overbearing. So let's talk about how to follow up on emails. If that's the case, you need to ensure you're showing value to them, too - as we're all quick to prioritize important messages and save the leftovers for later (which often turns into never). But time is precious, and your message is a flimsy needle in a busy inbox's haystack… if you don't make it stand out.Ī follow up signals that your email recipient's response is valuable to you. You want your recipient's attention! The two of you stand to get something done together. There's a reason the common follow-up email formula doesn't work: you (probably) aren't "just checking in". Can we touch base per my last email? Just wanted to check in…Īnd with that opening line, your eyes glaze over. it gets my hair insanely dark and lasts for a pretty decent amount of time on me, despite my hair being so damaged and washing it so often. This black color is also one of my favorites too. And because of my erm, not so great haircut recently, a lot of my black hair now falls where my bangs are and looks a bit silly so this seems to disguise that a bit more which is nice. Not to mention, these tubes that the Brights colors come in definitely are much more hassle free than the Manic Panic tubs, which always make my bathroom a rainbow mess after I've used them.Īnnnnd here's the finished result! Okay, I guess I did go a bit too dark with the purple as its barely noticeable here, but it will fade out soon. I really love Ions colors because you seem to get a ton of product for the price you pay as far as the wacky colors go, and the color pay off for each range is really awesome and professional in my opinion. In this case, I went with my usual jet black shade for my hair from Ion's Color Brilliance Permanent Liquid line in the color 1V Jet Black, and a mix of Sky Blue and Red from their Brilliance Brights Semi-Permanent range for my bangs. I've been putting red in them for a while now and I'm kinda getting burned out by the whole "fade to pink in 3 days" thing, so this time around I wanted to go with something much darker and hopefully, a bit more lasting. This time around I had to touch up my black again after two long months of letting it fade out as usual, and wanted to change up my bangs as well. I know I know, I need to decide on a hair color already right? Meh, I'm sort of working on it, its just too fun to change it up all the time (and I get waaay too bored with the same thing all the time). In “The Hunger,” a butterfly wakes up to find that nectar from flowers no longer holds any interest for her. That is a perfectly safe outing for these two young girls, right? Unless little Clarissa is still hanging around. One young girl double-dog dares another to spend the night in this theater. Now dilapidated and closed down, this theater is no longer visited, at least not to see the performances. Now, are they going to use this company they now have control of for good or for bad? Is it possible that they really are out to only do good? Trained in the martial arts, they quickly take down every person in the room. They are supposed to be representing the company that a deal is being made with, but in reality, have come only to take control. A group of beautiful young ladies floats into a meeting of executives. You could use the name “kaleidoscope of butterflies” (or any other collective noun) for a group that appears to be friendly, but underneath are anything but that. You could write about a land where the butterflies change from feasting on corpses to craving live human flesh and blood. Or maybe because of the things you’ve learned about the butterfly’s eating habits, you don’t think of them quite as fondly anymore. You could use that to write a children’s story about a family of butterflies and through the story teach young ones about the life of a butterfly. How can you use that information in your writing? A kaleidoscope of butterflies brings beautiful images into one’s mind. The antenna of a moth is feathery while that of a butterfly is club-like with a swollen tip. Butterflies are normally more brightly colored than moths. Butterflies are usually active during the day while moths are usually active only at night. Many people get moths and butterflies confused. How can you tell butterflies and moths apart? Predators have learned to recognize these brightly colored butterflies because these bright colors literally leave a bad taste in their mouth. Other butterflies have toxic chemicals in their body. The predator will believe that all it sees is a leaf or the bark of a tree, but “cryptic coloration” enables a butterfly to blend right into a leaf or some tree bark to avoid being spotted. Like a chameleon, some butterflies have the ability to disguise themselves and blend into their surroundings. How do butterflies defend themselves from predators? Most only travel short distances to do this, but species such as the Monarch travel thousands of miles. Maybe you feel they are playing a game of hide-and-seek with you, but they are there.īutterflies do not like cold weather, so they migrate to avoid living in it. Maybe they don’t allow themselves to be seen very often. Wherever you live, unless you happen to reside in Antarctica, butterflies are there. Most butterflies fly at between five and twelve miles per hour, but did you know that the skipper butterfly that flies as fast or faster than a horse can run? And since we do have salt in our blood, maybe the butterfly will try to get a taste of it too? If you start to cry while a butterfly is around, I’m sure it will slurp the tears right off your face. If it stays? The salt in your sweat is what’s keeping this gorgeous insect on your arm or leg or other part of your body. They are beautiful to look at, but this insect didn’t decide to grace you with its presence just so you could gaze upon its beauty. I’m sure at least one time in your life a butterfly has landed on you. Two butterflies drinking tears from turtles, wikipedia But nectar doesn’t provide all the nutrients the butterfly needs. This tongue is used to sip nectar from flowers. The tongue of a butterfly functions as a straw it is called a proboscis. That means they would have to watch out for butterflies during the day and moths at night. Oh, by the way, people who suffer from lepidopterophobia might also fear moths. As young as she was, did she know more about butterflies than I did? She would run to Mommy and grab hold of me while screaming and crying. When my daughter was a little girl, she would freak out whenever a butterfly flew by her or landed near her. So, I wonder, why on earth would people be so afraid of butterflies? Do they believe that instead of sucking nectar out of a flower that it will suck the blood out of their body? Do they have nightmares about being attacked by swarms of bloodthirsty butterflies? |
